2 Tawarikh 29:6

29:6 For our fathers were unfaithful; they did what is evil in the sight of ¹  the Lord our God and abandoned him! They turned ²  away from the Lord’s dwelling place and rejected him. ³ 

2 Tawarikh 36:16

36:16 But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his warnings, ⁴  and ridiculed his prophets. ⁵  Finally the Lord got very angry at his people and there was no one who could prevent his judgment. ⁶
