2 Tawarikh 23:16-17

23:16 Jehoiada then drew up a covenant stipulating that he, all the people, and the king should be loyal to the Lord. ¹  23:17 All the people went and demolished ²  the temple of Baal. They smashed its altars and idols. ³  They killed Mattan the priest of Baal in front of the altars.

[23:16]  ¹ tn Heb “and Jehoiada made a covenant between himself and [between] all the people and [between] the king, to become a people for the Lord.”
