22:2 Ahaziah was twenty-two ¹  years old when he became king and he reigned for one year in Jerusalem. His mother was Athaliah, the granddaughter ²  of Omri.

25:20 But Amaziah did not heed the warning, ³  for God wanted to hand them over to Joash because they followed the gods of Edom. ⁴

26:5 He followed ⁵  God during the lifetime of ⁶  Zechariah, who taught him how to honor God. As long as he followed ⁷  the Lord, God caused him to succeed. ⁸

[22:2]  ² tn The Hebrew term בַּת (bat, “daughter”) can refer, as here, to a granddaughter. See HALOT 165-66 s.v. I בַּת 1.
