Konteks18:1 Jehoshaphat was very wealthy and greatly respected. He made an alliance by marriage with Ahab, 18:2 and after several years 1 went down to visit 2 Ahab in Samaria. 3 Ahab slaughtered many sheep and cattle to honor Jehoshaphat and those who came with him. 4 He persuaded him to join in an attack 5 against Ramoth Gilead.

Konteks20:1 In the spring, at the time when kings normally conduct wars, 6 Joab led the army into battle and devastated the land of the Ammonites. He went and besieged Rabbah, while David stayed in Jerusalem. Joab defeated Rabbah and tore it down.
