12:5 Shemaiah the prophet visited Rehoboam and the leaders of Judah who were assembled in Jerusalem because of Shishak. He said to them, “This is what the Lord says: ‘You have rejected me, so I have rejected you and will hand you over to Shishak.’” ¹

25:24 He took away all the gold and silver, all the items found in God’s temple that were in the care of Obed-Edom, the riches in the royal palace, and some hostages. Then he went back to Samaria.

34:21 “Go, seek an oracle from ²  the Lord for me and those who remain in Israel and Judah. Find out about ³  the words of this scroll that has been discovered. For the Lord’s fury has been ignited against us, ⁴  because our ancestors ⁵  have not obeyed the word of the Lord by doing all that this scroll instructs!” ⁶
