4:40 The stew was poured out ¹  for the men to eat. When they ate some of the stew, they cried out, “Death is in the pot, O prophet!” They could not eat it.

15:5 The Lord afflicted the king with an illness; he suffered from a skin disease ²  until the day he died. He lived in separate quarters, ³  while his son Jotham was in charge of the palace and ruled over the people of the land.

[4:40]  ¹ tn Heb “and they poured out [the stew].” The plural subject is probably indefinite.
