3:14 Elisha said, “As certainly as the Lord who rules over all ¹  lives (whom I serve), ²  if I did not respect King Jehoshaphat of Judah, ³  I would not pay attention to you or acknowledge you. ⁴

9:19 So he sent a second horseman out to them ⁵  and he said, “This is what the king says, ‘Is everything all right?’” ⁶  Jehu replied, “None of your business! Follow me.”

[3:14]  ² tn Heb “before whom I stand.”

[3:14]  ³ tn Heb “if I did not lift up the face of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah.”

[3:14]  ⁴ tn Heb “I would not look at you or see you.”

[9:19]  ⁵ tn Heb “and he came to them.”

[9:19]  ⁶ tc The MT has simply “peace,” omitting the prefixed interrogative particle. It is likely that the particle has been accidentally omitted; several ancient witnesses include it or assume its presence.
