2:2 Elijah told Elisha, “Stay here, for the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” ¹  But Elisha said, “As certainly as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

15:20 Menahem got this silver by taxing all the wealthy men in Israel; he took fifty shekels of silver from each one of them and paid it to the king of Assyria. ⁹  Then the king of Assyria left; he did not stay there in the land.

17:36 Instead you must worship the Lord, who brought you up from the land of Egypt by his great power and military ability; ¹⁰  bow down to him and offer sacrifices to him.
