8:18 And we are sending ¹  along with him the brother who is praised by all the churches for his work in spreading the gospel. ²

12:1 It is necessary to go on boasting. ⁴  Though it is not profitable, I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord.

[8:18]  ¹ tn This verb has been translated as an epistolary aorist.

[8:18]  ² tn Grk “the brother of whom the praise in the gospel [is] throughout all the churches.”

[10:14]  ³ tn Grk “with the gospel of Christ,” but since Χριστοῦ (Cristou) is clearly an objective genitive here, it is better to translate “with the gospel about Christ.”

[12:1]  ⁴ tn Grk “Boasting is necessary.”
