2 Korintus 1:11

1:11 as you also join in helping us by prayer, so that many people may give thanks to God ¹  on our behalf for the gracious gift given to us through the help of many.

2 Korintus 4:15

4:15 For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including ²  more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase ³  to the glory of God.

[1:11]  ¹ tn Grk “so that thanks may be given by many.” The words “to God” are not in the Greek text, but are implied. The passive construction has been converted to an active one for clarity, in keeping with contemporary English style.

[4:15]  ² tn Or “that is abounding to.”

[4:15]  ³ tn Or “to abound.”
