1. Bila badai hidup menerpamu
dan cobaan pun datang mengganggu,
hanya satu janji harapanmu;
ya, janji Tuhanmu, pegang teguh.
Biar gunung-gunung pun beranjak,
serta bukit-bukit pun bergoncang,
kasih dan setia dari Tuhan
‘kan melindungimu, tetap teguh.
Pegang selalu janji Tuhan,
jangan lepaskan,
walau siang atau malam;
enyahlah takut atau bimbang:
Tuhanlah pemilik hidupmu, hidupmu.
