Thanksgiving for Response to the Gospel

1:2 We thank God always for all of you as we mention you constantly ¹  in our prayers,

1 Tesalonika 1:6

1:6 And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, when you received ²  the message with joy that comes from the Holy Spirit, despite great affliction.

1:9 For people everywhere ³  report how you welcomed us ⁴  and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God

2:5 For we never appeared ⁵  with flattering speech, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed – God is our witness –

3:9 For how can we thank God enough for you, ⁶  for all the joy we feel ⁷  because of you before our God? 3:10 We pray earnestly night and day to see you in person ⁸  and make up what may be lacking in your faith.
