22:8 But the Lord said to me: ¹  ‘You have spilled a great deal of blood and fought many battles. You must not build a temple to honor me, ²  for you have spilled a great deal of blood on the ground before me.

29:1 King David said to the entire assembly: “My son Solomon, the one whom God has chosen, is just an inexperienced young man, ³  and the task is great, for this palace is not for man, but for the Lord God.

1 Tawarikh 29:22

29:22 They held a feast ⁴  before the Lord that day and celebrated. ⁵ 

Then they designated Solomon, David’s son, as king a second time; ⁶  before the Lord they anointed him as ruler and Zadok as priest.
