1 Tawarikh 3:1
Konteks3:1 These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron:
The firstborn was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam from Jezreel;
the second was Daniel, whose mother was Abigail from Carmel;
1 Tawarikh 11:22
Konteks11:22 Benaiah son of Jehoiada was a brave warrior from Kabzeel who performed great exploits. He struck down the two sons of Ariel of Moab; 2 he also went down and killed a lion inside a cistern on a snowy day.
[1:19] 1 sn Perhaps this refers to the scattering of the people at Babel (Gen 11:1-9).
[11:22] 2 tc Heb “the two of Ariel, Moab.” The precise meaning of אֲרִיאֵל (’ari’el) is uncertain; some read “warrior.” The present translation assumes that the word is a proper name and that בְּנֵי (bÿney, “sons of”) has accidentally dropped from the text by homoioarcton (note the preceding שְׁנֵי, shÿney).
