1 Samuel 2:30

2:30 Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, says, ‘I really did say ¹  that your house and your ancestor’s house would serve ²  me forever.’ But now the Lord says, ‘May it never be! ³  For I will honor those who honor me, but those who despise me will be cursed!

Yohanes 14:21-24

14:21 The person who has my commandments and obeys ⁴  them is the one who loves me. ⁵  The one ⁶  who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal ⁷  myself to him.”

14:22 “Lord,” Judas (not Judas Iscariot) ⁸  said, ⁹  “what has happened that you are going to reveal ¹⁰  yourself to us and not to the world?” 14:23 Jesus replied, ¹¹  “If anyone loves me, he will obey ¹²  my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and take up residence with him. ¹³  14:24 The person who does not love me does not obey ¹⁴  my words. And the word ¹⁵  you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.
