1 Kings 8:65

8:65 At that time Solomon and all Israel with him celebrated a festival before the Lord our God for two entire weeks. This great assembly included people from all over the land, from Lebo Hamath in the north to the Brook of Egypt ¹  in the south. ² 

Leviticus 23:36

23:36 For seven days you must present a gift to the Lord. On the eighth day there is to be a holy assembly for you, and you must present a gift to the Lord. It is a solemn assembly day; ³  you must not do any regular work.

Nehemiah 8:18

8:18 Ezra ⁴  read in the book of the law of God day by day, from the first day to the last. ⁵  They observed the festival for seven days, and on the eighth day they held an assembly ⁶  as was required. ⁷

NLT “a solemn closing assembly.”
