8:36 then listen from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel. Certainly ¹  you will then teach them the right way to live ²  and send rain on your land that you have given your people to possess. ³

9:9 Others will then answer, ⁴  ‘Because they abandoned the Lord their God, who led their ancestors ⁵  out of Egypt. They embraced other gods whom they worshiped and served. ⁶  That is why the Lord has brought all this disaster down on them.’”

1 Raja-raja 20:28

20:28 The prophet ⁷  visited the king of Israel and said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Because the Syrians said, “The Lord is a god of the mountains and not a god of the valleys,” I will hand over to you this entire huge army. ⁸  Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
