5:9 My servants will bring the timber down from Lebanon to the sea. I will send it by sea in raft-like bundles to the place you designate. ¹  There I will separate the logs ²  and you can carry them away. In exchange you will supply the food I need for my royal court.” ³

11:38 You must obey ⁶  all I command you to do, follow my instructions, ⁷  do what I approve, ⁸  and keep my rules and commandments, like my servant David did. Then I will be with you and establish for you a lasting dynasty, as I did for David; ⁹  I will give you Israel.

22:43 He followed in his father Asa’s footsteps and was careful to do what the Lord approved. ¹⁰  (22:44) ¹¹  However, the high places were not eliminated; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense on the high places.

[5:9]  ¹ tn Heb “I will place them [on? as?] rafts in the sea to the place where you designate to me.” This may mean he would send them by raft, or that he would tie them in raft-like bundles, and have ships tow them down to an Israelite port.
