Abijah’s Reign over Judah

15:1 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Jeroboam son of Nebat, Abijah ¹  became king over Judah.

15:8 Abijah passed away ²  and was buried ³  in the city of David. His son Asa replaced him as king.

16:28 Omri passed away ⁴  and was buried in Samaria. His son Ahab replaced him as king. ⁵

Jehoshaphat’s Reign over Judah

22:41 In the fourth year of King Ahab’s reign over Israel, Asa’s son Jehoshaphat became king over Judah.

[15:8]  ² tn Heb “lay down with his fathers.” The Old Greek also has these words: “in the twenty-eighth year of Jeroboam.”
