Now from noon until three, ¹  darkness came over all the land. ² 

Now ¹  when it was noon, ²  darkness came over the whole land ³  until three in the afternoon. ⁴ 

It was now ¹  about noon, ²  and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, ³ 

To the present hour we are hungry and thirsty, poorly clothed, brutally treated, and without a roof over our heads.

Then ¹  Jesus rebuked ²  the demon and it came out of him, and the boy was healed from that moment.

“But as for that day and hour no one knows it – not even the angels in heaven ¹  – except the Father alone.

When it was already late, his disciples came to him and said, “This is an isolated place ¹  and it is already very late.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  entered Jerusalem and went to the temple. And after looking around at everything, he went out to Bethany with the twelve since it was already late.

“But as for that day or hour no one knows it – neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son ¹  – except the Father.

And after about an hour still another insisted, ¹  “Certainly this man was with him, because he too is a Galilean.” ² 

He then said to his disciple, “Look, here is your mother!” From that very time ¹  the disciple took her into his own home.

But when they recognized ¹  that he was a Jew, they all shouted in unison, ²  “Great is Artemis ³  of the Ephesians!” for about two hours. ⁴ 

But when we were separated from you, brothers and sisters, ¹  for a short time (in presence, not in affection) ²  we became all the more fervent in our great desire ³  to see you in person. ⁴ 

But when Jesus turned and saw her he said, “Have courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well.” ¹  And the woman was healed ²  from that hour.

Then ¹  Jesus answered her, “Woman, ²  your faith is great! Let what you want be done for you.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.

“Now my soul is greatly distressed. And what should I say? ‘Father, deliver me ¹  from this hour’? ²  No, but for this very reason I have come to this hour. ³ 

Cornelius ¹  replied, ²  “Four days ago at this very hour, at three o’clock in the afternoon, ³  I was praying in my house, and suddenly ⁴  a man in shining clothing stood before me

Then ¹  he summoned ²  two of the centurions ³  and said, “Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea ⁴  along with seventy horsemen ⁵  and two hundred spearmen ⁶  by ⁷  nine o’clock tonight, ⁸ 

Because you have kept ¹  my admonition ²  to endure steadfastly, ³  I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.
