so that no one can boast in his presence.

Then people from Jerusalem,<n id="1" /> as well as all Judea and all the region around the Jordan, were going out to him,

When King Herod<n id="1" /> heard this he was alarmed, and all Jerusalem with him.

<p class="otpoetry"><i><b>and all humanityb>i><n id="1" /> <b><i>will see the salvation of God.&#8217;&#8221;i>b><n id="2" />p>

So then, if<n id="1" /> you will worship<n id="2" /> me, all this will be<n id="3" /> yours.&#8221;

For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now.

In him<n id="1" /> the whole building,<n id="2" /> being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

from<n id="1" /> whom every family<n id="2" /> in heaven and on the earth is named.

But<n id="1" /> among you there must not be either sexual immorality, impurity of any kind,<n id="2" /> or greed, as these are not fitting for the saints.<n id="3" />

<p class="poetry">and every tongue confessp> <p class="poetry">that Jesus Christ is Lordp> <p class="poetry">to the glory of God the Father.p>

But as it is,<n id="1" /> you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

Above all, you do well if you recognize<n id="1" /> this:<n id="2" /> No prophecy of scripture ever comes about by the prophet&#8217;s own imagination,<n id="3" />

All unrighteousness<n id="1" /> is sin, but there is sin not resulting in death.<n id="2" />p>

Every<n id="1" /> island fled away<n id="2" /> and no mountains could be found.<n id="3" />

Now when Jesus<n id="1" /> realized what they were thinking, he said to them,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed,<n id="3" /> and no town or house divided against itself will stand.

As he entered Jerusalem the whole city was thrown into an uproar,<n id="1" /> saying, &#8220;Who is this?&#8221;

<b><i>Every personi>b><n id="1" /> <b><i>who does not obey that prophet will be destroyed and thus removedi>b><n id="2" /> <b><i>from the peoplei>b>.&#8217;<n id="3" />

<p class="bodytext">On the next Sabbath almost the whole city assembled together to hear the word of the Lord.<n id="1" />

For <i>no one is declared righteous before himi><n id="1" /> by the works of the law,<n id="2" /> for through the law comes<n id="3" /> the knowledge of sin.
