Mazmur 145:6
Konteks145:6 They will proclaim 4 the power of your awesome acts!
I will declare your great deeds!
[145:5] 1 tn Heb “the splendor of the glory of your majesty, and the matters of your amazing deeds I will ponder.”
[90:16] 2 tn Heb “may your work be revealed to your servants.” In this context (note v. 17) the verb form יֵרָאֶה (yera’eh) is best understood as an unshortened jussive (see Gen 1:9; Isa 47:3).
[90:16] 3 tn Heb “and your majesty to their sons.” The verb “be revealed” is understood by ellipsis in the second line.
[145:6] 4 tn The prefixed verbal form is understood as an imperfect, indicating how the psalmist expects his audience to respond to his praise. Another option is to take the forms as a jussive, indicating the psalmist’s wish, “may they proclaim.”
