Amsal 3:1
Pelengkap Kidung Jemaat
- Wahai Anakku, Janganlah Kaulupakan [PKJ.283]
|
Amsal 3:1-14
|
1. Wahai anakku, janganlah kaulupakan ajaranku
dan biarkanlah hatimu mengamalkan perintahku;
panjang umurmu, juga lanjut usia,
damai sejaht’ra ditambahkan padamu.
Wahai anakku, janganlah kaulupakan ajaranku
dan biarkanlah hatimu mengamalkan perintahku;
|
2. Janganlah engkau menganggap dirimu sendiri bijak;
takutlah kau akan Tuhan dan jauhi kejahatan.
Itu yang akan menyembuhkan tubuhmu
dan menyegarkan kekuatan ragamu.
Janganlah engkau menganggap dirimu sendiri bijak;
takutlah kau akan Tuhan dan jauhi kejahatan.
|
3. Berbahagialah orang yang terus mendapat hikmat,
berbahagialah orang yang beroleh kepandaian;
keuntungannya jauh lebih dari perak,
juga hasilnya melebihi mas murni.
Berbahagialah orang yang terus mendapat hikmat,
berbahagialah orang yang beroleh kepandaian;
|

Ulangan 8:9-14

[Ul 8:10] Swell The Anthem, Raise The Song
Swell the anthem, raise the song; Praises to our God belong. Saints and angels join to sing Praises to the heav’nly King. Blessings from His liberal hand Flow around this happy land. Kept by Him, no foes annoy; Peace and freedom we enjoy. Here, beneath a peaceful sway, May we cheerfully obey, Never feel oppression’s rod, Ever own and worship God. Hark, the voice of nature sings Praises to the King of kings. Let us join the choral song And the grateful notes prolong. |

Amsal 3:1
-
[Ams 3:1] He Liveth Long Who Liveth Well
He liveth long who liveth well; All other life is short and vain; He liveth longest who can tell Of living most for heavenly gain. He liveth long who liveth well; All else is being flung away; He liveth longest who can tell Of true things truly done each day. Be what thou seemest; live thy creed; Hold up to earth the torch divine: Be what thou prayest to be made; Let the great Master’s steps be thine. Fill up each hour with what will last; Buy up the moments as they go; The life above, when this is past, Is the ripe fruit of life below. Sow love, and taste its fruitage pure; Sow peace, and reap its harvest bright; Sow sunbeams on the rock and moor, And find a harvest-home of light. |
