Hezekiah Observes the Passover

30:1 Hezekiah sent messages throughout Israel and Judah; he even wrote letters to Ephraim and Manasseh, summoning them to come to the Lord’s temple in Jerusalem ¹  and observe a Passover celebration for the Lord God of Israel.

Cyrus Allows the Exiles to Go Home

36:22 In the first year of the reign of ²  King Cyrus of Persia, in fulfillment of the promise he delivered through Jeremiah, ³  the Lord moved ⁴  King Cyrus of Persia to issue a written decree throughout his kingdom.
