2 Tawarikh 24:24

24:24 Even though the invading Syrian army was relatively weak, the Lord handed over to them Judah’s very large army, ¹  for the people of Judah ²  had abandoned the Lord God of their ancestors. The Syrians ³  gave Joash what he deserved. ⁴ 

2 Tawarikh 30:22

30:22 Hezekiah expressed his appreciation to all the Levites, ⁵  who demonstrated great skill in serving the Lord. ⁶  They feasted for the seven days of the festival, ⁷  and were making peace offerings and giving thanks to the Lord God of their ancestors.

2 Tawarikh 34:33

34:33 Josiah removed all the detestable idols from all the areas belonging to the Israelites and encouraged ⁸  all who were in Israel to worship the Lord their God. Throughout the rest of his reign ⁹  they did not turn aside from following the Lord God of their ancestors.
