11:1 King Solomon fell in love with many foreign women (besides Pharaoh’s daughter), including Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites.

1 Samuel 15:27

15:27 When Samuel turned to leave, Saul ²  grabbed the edge of his robe and it tore.

[15:27]  ² tn Heb “he,” but Saul is clearly the referent. A Qumran ms and the LXX include the name “Saul” here.
