For see what this very thing, this sadness 1 as God intended, has produced in you: what eagerness, what defense of yourselves, 2 what indignation, 3 what alarm, what longing, what deep concern, 4 what punishment! 5 In everything you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.
Give a shepherd’s care to 1 God’s flock among you, exercising oversight 2 not merely as a duty 3 but willingly under God’s direction, 4 not for shameful profit but eagerly.
In the same way, the one who had two gained two more.
and to put on sandals but not to wear two tunics. 1

Some of you once lived this way. 1 But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ 2 and by the Spirit of our God.
It is not the wife who has the rights to her own body, but the husband. In the same way, it is not the husband who has the rights to his own body, but the wife.
So then, tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers. Prophecy, however, is not for unbelievers but for believers.

And do not lead us into temptation, 1 but deliver us from the evil one. 2
What did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more 1 than a prophet.
