He told his servant Gehazi, &#8220;Ask the Shunammite woman to come here.&#8221;<n id="1" /> So he did so and she came to him.<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">When he came and stood before his master, Elisha asked him, &#8220;Where have you been, Gehazi?&#8221; He answered, &#8220;Your servant hasn&#8217;t been anywhere.&#8221;

Now the king was talking to Gehazi, the prophet&#8217;s<n id="1" /> servant, and said, &#8220;Tell me all the great things which Elisha has done.&#8221;

While Gehazi<n id="1" /> was telling the king how Elisha<n id="2" /> had brought the dead back to life, the woman whose son he had brought back to life came to ask the king for her house and field.<n id="3" /> Gehazi said, &#8220;My master, O king, this is the very woman and this is her son whom Elisha brought back to life!&#8221;
