For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.

If someone speaks in a tongue, it should be two, or at the most three, one after the other, and someone must interpret.

Now when you come together at the same place, you are not really eating the Lord’s Supper.

Who ever serves in the army at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat its fruit? Who tends a flock and does not consume its milk?

in a moment, in the blinking ¹  of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

If anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, so that when you assemble it does not lead to judgment. I will give directions about other matters when I come.

If from a human point of view I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, ¹  what did it benefit me? If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die. ² 

Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple ¹  eat food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar receive a part of the offerings?

But I will stay in Ephesus ¹  until Pentecost,

But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to him. ¹ 

You were bought with a price. Do not become slaves of men.

Was anyone called after he had been circumcised? He should not try to undo his circumcision. ¹  Was anyone called who is uncircumcised? He should not get circumcised.

The fact that you have lawsuits among yourselves demonstrates that you have already been defeated. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?

With regard to our brother Apollos: I strongly encouraged him to visit you with the other brothers, ¹  but it was simply not his intention to come now. ²  He will come when he has the opportunity.
