Yosua 3:16
3:16 the water coming downstream toward them stopped flowing.
1 It piled up far upstream
2 at Adam (the city near Zarethan); there was no water at all flowing to the sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea).
3 The people crossed the river opposite Jericho.

23:13 know for certain that the
Lord our God will no longer drive out these nations from before you. They will trap and ensnare you;
7 they will be a whip that tears
8 your sides and thorns that blind
9 your eyes until you disappear
10 from this good land the
Lord your God gave you.
