Yesaya 3:9

3:9 The look on their faces¹ testifies to their guilt;²

like the people of Sodom they openly boast of their sin.³

Too bad for them!⁴

For they bring disaster on themselves.

Yesaya 7:3

7:3 So the Lord told Isaiah, “Go out with your son Shear-jashub⁵ and meet Ahaz at the end of the conduit of the upper pool which is located on the road to the field where they wash and dry cloth.⁶

Yesaya 7:11

7:11 “Ask for a confirming sign from the Lord your God. You can even ask for something miraculous.”⁷

Yesaya 13:2

13:2 ⁸On a bare hill raise a signal flag,

shout to them,

wave your hand,

so they might enter the gates of the princes!

Yesaya 13:4

13:4 ⁹There is a loud noise on the mountains –

it sounds like a large army!¹⁰

There is great commotion among the kingdoms¹¹ –

nations are being assembled!

The Lord who commands armies is mustering

forces for battle.

Yesaya 19:25

19:25 The Lord who commands armies will pronounce a blessing over the earth, saying,¹² “Blessed be my people, Egypt, and the work of my hands, Assyria, and my special possession,¹³ Israel!”

Yesaya 28:22

28:22 So now, do not mock,

or your chains will become heavier!

For I have heard a message about decreed destruction,

from the sovereign master, the Lord who commands armies, against the entire land.¹⁴

Yesaya 33:16

33:16 This is the person who will live in a secure place;¹⁵

he will find safety in the rocky, mountain strongholds;¹⁶

he will have food

and a constant supply of water.

Yesaya 46:1

The Lord Carries His People

46:1 Bel¹⁷ kneels down,

Nebo¹⁸ bends low.

Their images weigh down animals and beasts.¹⁹

Your heavy images are burdensome to tired animals.²⁰

Yesaya 47:1

Babylon Will Fall

47:1 “Fall down! Sit in the dirt,

O virgin²¹ daughter Babylon!

Sit on the ground, not on a throne,

O daughter of the Babylonians!

Indeed,²² you will no longer be called delicate and pampered.
