Yeremia 11:7
11:7 For I solemnly warned your ancestors to obey me.
1 I warned them again and again,
2 ever since I delivered them out of Egypt until this very day.
Yeremia 50:7
50:7 All who encountered them devoured them.
Their enemies who did this said, ‘We are not liable for punishment!
For those people have sinned against the Lord, their true pasture. 3
They have sinned against the Lord in whom their ancestors 4 trusted.’ 5
