Yeremia 1:10
1:10 Know for certain that
1 I hereby give you the authority to announce to nations and kingdoms that they will be
2 uprooted and torn down, destroyed and demolished, rebuilt and firmly planted.”

Yeremia 2:3
2:3 Israel was set apart to the
Lord; they were like the first fruits of a harvest to him.
4 All who tried to devour them were punished; disaster came upon them,” says the
Lord.’”
Yeremia 51:47
51:47 “So the time will certainly come 5
when I will punish the idols of Babylon.
Her whole land will be put to shame.
All her mortally wounded will collapse in her midst. 6

52:6 By the ninth day of the fourth month
7 the famine in the city was so severe the residents
8 had no food.
