1:4 So her sons
1 married
2 Moabite women. (One was named Orpah and the other Ruth.)
3 And they continued to live there about ten years.
Rut 1:9
1:9 May the
Lord enable each of you to find

5 in the home of a new husband!”
6 Then she kissed them goodbye and they wept loudly.

Rut 2:4
Boaz and Ruth Meet
2:4 Now at that very moment, 8 Boaz arrived from Bethlehem 9 and greeted 10 the harvesters, “May the Lord be with you!” They replied, 11 “May the Lord bless you!”
Rut 2:13
2:13 She said, “You really are being kind to me,
12 sir,
13 for you have reassured
14 and encouraged
15 me, your servant,
16 even though I am
17 not one of your servants!”

2:15 When she got up to gather grain, Boaz told
19 his male servants, “Let her gather grain even among
20 the bundles! Don’t chase her off!

Rut 2:18
Ruth Returns to Naomi
2:18 She carried it back to town, and her mother-in-law saw 22 how much grain 23 she had gathered. Then Ruth 24 gave her the roasted grain she had saved from mealtime. 25
Rut 2:21
2:21 Ruth the Moabite replied, “He even
26 told me, ‘You may go along beside my servants
27 until they have finished gathering all my harvest!’”
