9:16 The Lord revealed himself;
he accomplished justice;
the wicked were ensnared by their own actions. 1 (Higgaion. 2 Selah)
55:23 But you, O God, will bring them 3 down to the deep Pit. 4
Violent and deceitful people 5 will not live even half a normal lifespan. 6
But as for me, I trust in you.
58:10 The godly 7 will rejoice when they see vengeance carried out;
they will bathe their feet in the blood of the wicked.
58:11 Then 8 observers 9 will say,
“Yes indeed, the godly are rewarded! 10
Yes indeed, there is a God who judges 11 in the earth!”
64:7 But God will shoot 12 at them;
suddenly they will be 13 wounded by an arrow. 14
64:8 Their slander will bring about their demise. 15
All who see them will shudder, 16
64:9 and all people will fear. 17
They will proclaim 18 what God has done,
and reflect on his deeds.
1:1 From Jude, 19 a slave 20 of Jesus Christ and brother of James, 21 to those who are called, wrapped in the love of 22 God the Father and kept for 23 Jesus Christ. 1:2 May mercy, peace, and love be lavished on you! 24
1:8 Yet these men, 25 as a result of their dreams, 26 defile the flesh, reject authority, 27 and insult 28 the glorious ones. 29 1:9 But even 30 when Michael the archangel 31 was arguing with the devil and debating with him 32 concerning Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a slanderous judgment, but said, “May the Lord rebuke you!”
15:4 Who will not fear you, O Lord,
and glorify 33 your name, because you alone are holy? 34
All nations 35 will come and worship before you
for your righteous acts 36 have been revealed.”
19:1 After these things I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying,
“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
19:2 because his judgments are true and just. 37
For he has judged 38 the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality,
and has avenged the blood of his servants 39 poured out by her own hands!” 40
19:3 Then 41 a second time the crowd shouted, “Hallelujah!” The smoke rises from her forever and ever. 42 19:4 The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures threw themselves to the ground 43 and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne, saying: “Amen! Hallelujah!”
19:5 Then 44 a voice came from the throne, saying:
“Praise our God
all you his servants,
and all you who fear Him,
both the small and the great!”
19:6 Then 45 I heard what sounded like the voice of a vast throng, like the roar of many waters and like loud crashes of thunder. They were shouting: 46
“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God, 47 the All-Powerful, 48 reigns!
