Amsal 15:31-32

15:31 The person¹ who hears the reproof that leads to life²

is at home³ among the wise.⁴

15:32 The one who refuses correction despises himself,⁵

but whoever hears⁶ reproof acquires understanding.⁷

Amsal 1:23

1:23 If only⁸ you will respond⁹ to my rebuke,¹⁰

then¹¹ I will pour¹² out my thoughts¹³ to you

and¹⁴ I will make¹⁵ my words known to you.

6:23 For the commandments¹⁶ are like¹⁷ a lamp,¹⁸

instruction is like a light,

and rebukes of discipline are like¹⁹ the road leading to life,²⁰

19:20 Listen to advice²¹ and receive discipline,

that²² you may become wise²³ by the end of your life.²⁴

25:12 Like an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold,²⁵

so is a wise reprover to the ear of the one who listens.²⁶

141:5 May the godly strike me in love and correct me!

May my head not refuse²⁷ choice oil!²⁸

Indeed, my prayer is a witness against their evil deeds.²⁹

1:13 Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith

2:15 So communicate these things with the sort of exhortation or rebuke³⁰ that carries full authority.³¹ Don’t let anyone look down³² on you.
