Amsal 7:10-12

7:10 Suddenly¹ a woman came out to meet him!

She was dressed like a prostitute² and with secret intent.³

7:11 (She is loud and rebellious,

she⁴ does not remain⁵ at home –

7:12 at one time outside, at another⁶ in the wide plazas,

and by every corner she lies in wait.)

Yeremia 30:14

30:14 All your allies have abandoned you.⁷

They no longer have any concern for you.

For I have attacked you like an enemy would.

I have chastened you cruelly.

For your wickedness is so great
