Amsal 16:32

16:32 Better to be slow to anger than to be a mighty warrior,

and one who controls his temper is better than one who captures a city.

Lukas 6:27-30

6:27 “But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 6:28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 6:29 To the person who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other as well, and from the person who takes away your coat, do not withhold your tunic 10  either. 11  6:30 Give to everyone who asks you, 12  and do not ask for your possessions 13  back 14  from the person who takes them away.
