Amsal 1:23

1:23 If only ¹  you will respond ²  to my rebuke, ³ 

then ⁴  I will pour ⁵  out my thoughts ⁶  to you

and ⁷  I will make ⁸  my words known to you.

Yesaya 44:3-4

44:3 For I will pour water on the parched ground ⁹ 

and cause streams to flow ¹⁰  on the dry land.

I will pour my spirit on your offspring

and my blessing on your children.

44:4 They will sprout up like a tree in the grass, ¹¹ 

like poplars beside channels of water.

Yehezkiel 36:27

36:27 I will put my Spirit within you; ¹²  I will take the initiative and you will obey my statutes ¹³  and carefully observe my regulations. ¹⁴ 

Yoel 2:28

An Outpouring of the Spirit

2:28 (3:1) ¹⁵  After all of this ¹⁶ 

I will pour out my Spirit ¹⁷  on all kinds of people. ¹⁸ 

Your sons and daughters will prophesy.

Your elderly will have revelatory dreams; ¹⁹ 

your young men will see prophetic visions.

Matius 7:11

7:11 If you then, although you are evil, ²⁰  know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts ²¹  to those who ask him!

Yohanes 4:10

4:10 Jesus answered ²²  her, “If you had known ²³  the gift of God and who it is who said to you, ‘Give me some water ²⁴  to drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” ²⁵

7:37 On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, ²⁶  Jesus stood up and shouted out, ²⁷  “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, and 7:38 let the one who believes in me drink. ²⁸  Just as the scripture says, ‘From within him ²⁹  will flow rivers of living water.’” ³⁰  7:39 (Now he said this about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were going to receive, for the Spirit had not yet been given, ³¹  because Jesus was not yet glorified.) ³²
