Obaja 1:12

1:12 You should not ¹  have gloated ²  when your relatives ³  suffered calamity. ⁴ 

You should not have rejoiced over the people of Judah when they were destroyed. ⁵ 

You should not have boasted ⁶  when they suffered adversity. ⁷ 

Kejadian 35:3

35:3 Let us go up at once ⁸  to Bethel. Then I will make ⁹  an altar there to God, who responded to me in my time of distress ¹⁰  and has been with me wherever I went.” ¹¹ 

Yesaya 37:3

37:3 “This is what Hezekiah says: ¹²  ‘This is a day of distress, insults, ¹³  and humiliation, ¹⁴  as when a baby is ready to leave the birth canal, but the mother lacks the strength to push it through. ¹⁵ 

Yeremia 30:7

30:7 Alas, what a terrible time of trouble it is! ¹⁶ 

There has never been any like it.

It is a time of trouble for the descendants of Jacob,

but some of them will be rescued out of it. ¹⁷
