9:2 Just then
1 some people
2 brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher.
3 When Jesus saw their
4 faith, he said to the paralytic, “Have courage, son! Your sins are forgiven.”

9:3 Then
6 some of the experts in the law
7 said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!”
