Maleakhi 1:10

1:10 “I wish that one of you would close the temple doors,¹ so that you no longer would light useless fires on my altar. I am not pleased with you,” says the Lord who rules over all, “and I will no longer accept an offering from you.

Maleakhi 1:13

1:13 You also say, ‘How tiresome it is.’ You turn up your nose at it,” says the Lord who rules over all, “and instead bring what is stolen, lame, or sick. You bring these things for an offering! Should I accept this from you?”² asks the Lord.

Ayub 42:8

42:8 So now take³ seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and offer a burnt offering for yourselves. And my servant Job will intercede⁴ for you, and I will respect him,⁵ so that I do not deal with you⁶ according to your folly,⁷ because you have not spoken about me what is right, as my servant Job has.”⁸

Mazmur 20:3

20:3 May he take notice⁹ of your offerings;

may he accept¹⁰ your burnt sacrifice! (Selah)

Yeremia 14:10

14:10 Then the Lord spoke about these people.¹¹

“They truly¹² love to go astray.

They cannot keep from running away from me.¹³

So I am not pleased with them.

I will now call to mind¹⁴ the wrongs they have done¹⁵

and punish them for their sins.”

Hosea 8:13

8:13 They offer up sacrificial gifts to me,

and eat the meat,

but the Lord does not accept their sacrifices.¹⁶

Soon he will remember their wrongdoing,

he will punish their sins,

and they will return to Egypt.
