Lukas 24:45-49
24:45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures,

24:46 and said to them, “Thus it stands written that the Christ
2 would suffer
3 and would rise from the dead on the third day,
24:47 and repentance
4 for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed
5 in his name to all nations,
6 beginning from Jerusalem.

24:48 You are witnesses
8 of these things.
24:49 And look, I am sending you
9 what my Father promised.
10 But stay in the city
11 until you have been clothed with power
12 from on high.”
