Lukas 20:23-26
20:23 But Jesus
1 perceived their deceit
2 and said to them,
20:24 “Show me a denarius.
3 Whose image
4 and inscription are on it?”
5 They said, “Caesar’s.”
20:25 So
6 he said to them, “Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

20:26 Thus
8 they were unable in the presence of the people to trap
9 him with his own words.
10 And stunned
11 by his answer, they fell silent.
