Kejadian 49:15

49:15 When he sees ¹  a good resting place,

and the pleasant land,

he will bend his shoulder to the burden

and become a slave laborer. ² 

Keluaran 1:11

1:11 So they put foremen ³  over the Israelites ⁴  to oppress ⁵  them with hard labor. As a result ⁶  they built Pithom and Rameses ⁷  as store cities for Pharaoh.

Ulangan 20:11

20:11 If it accepts your terms ⁸  and submits to you, all the people found in it will become your slaves. ⁹
