Look, your God comes to avenge!
With divine retribution he comes to deliver you.” 2

“Prepare for a holy war!
Call out the warriors!
Let all these fighting men approach and attack! 3
3:10 Beat your plowshares 4 into swords,
and your pruning hooks 5 into spears! 6
Let the weak say, ‘I too am a warrior!’ 7
3:11 Lend your aid 8 and come,
all you surrounding nations,
and gather yourselves 9 to that place.”
