Yesaya 14:24-27

14:24 ¹The Lord who commands armies makes this solemn vow:

“Be sure of this:

Just as I have intended, so it will be;

just as I have planned, it will happen.

14:25 I will break Assyria² in my land,

I will trample them³ underfoot on my hills.

Their yoke will be removed from my people,

the burden will be lifted from their shoulders.⁴

14:26 This is the plan I have devised for the whole earth;

my hand is ready to strike all the nations.”⁵

14:27 Indeed,⁶ the Lord who commands armies has a plan,

and who can possibly frustrate it?

His hand is ready to strike,

and who can possibly stop it?⁷

Yesaya 38:15

38:15 What can I say?

He has decreed and acted.⁸

I will walk slowly all my years because I am overcome with grief.⁹

Bilangan 23:19

23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie,

nor a human being,¹⁰ that he should change his mind.

Has he said, and will he not do it?

Or has he spoken, and will he not make it happen?¹¹

Ayub 23:13

23:13 But he is unchangeable,¹² and who can change¹³ him?

Whatever he¹⁴ has desired, he does.

Yeremia 50:45

50:45 So listen to what I, the Lord, have planned against Babylon,

what I intend to do to the people who inhabit the land of Babylonia.¹⁵

Their little ones will be dragged off.

I will completely destroy their land because of what they have done.
