The Need to Move on to Maturity

5:11 On this topic we have much to say¹ and it is difficult to explain, since you have become sluggish² in hearing.

Amsal 12:24

12:24 The diligent³ person⁴ will rule,

but the slothful⁵ will become a slave.⁶

13:4 The appetite⁷ of the sluggard⁸ craves⁹ but gets nothing,

24:33 “A little sleep, a little slumber,

a little folding of the hands to relax,

24:34 and your poverty will come like a bandit,

and your need like an armed robber.”²³
