The Obedience of Abram
12:1 Now the Lord said 1 to Abram, 2
“Go out 3 from your country, your relatives, and your father’s household
to the land that I will show you. 4

12:7 The
Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants
5 I will give this land.” So Abram
6 built an altar there to the
Lord, who had appeared to him.
