Kejadian 34:19

34:19 The young man did not delay in doing what they asked ¹  because he wanted Jacob’s daughter Dinah ²  badly. (Now he was more important ³  than anyone in his father’s household.) ⁴ 

Yesaya 63:8-10

63:8 He said, “Certainly they will be my people,

children who are not disloyal.” ⁵ 

He became their deliverer.

63:9 Through all that they suffered, he suffered too. ⁶ 

The messenger sent from his very presence ⁷  delivered them.

In his love and mercy he protected ⁸  them;

he lifted them up and carried them throughout ancient times. ⁹ 

63:10 But they rebelled and offended ¹⁰  his holy Spirit, ¹¹ 

so he turned into an enemy

and fought against them.
